- Contact details — your name, company name, email address and telephone number when you complete the estimate request form, email us or call us.
- Project details — the site address, property type, service required, timeline and any description, photographs or documents you choose to send.
- Correspondence — the content of emails, call notes, proposals, contracts and invoices relating to work you ask us to quote or perform.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Server logs — our web host records IP address, browser type, referring page, requested page and timestamp for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies and similar technologies — described in our Cookie Policy. Optional analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, health information or any special category data through this website. Please do not send such information through the website form.

- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client project records, contracts and invoices: seven years, in line with US tax and business record requirements.
- Installation records, test data and as-built documentation: retained for the life of the installation for warranty and safety purposes.
- Server logs: typically 30–90 days depending on our hosting provider's configuration.
7. How we protect information
This website is served over HTTPS. Access to our email and project files is restricted to staff who need it, protected by unique accounts and multi-factor authentication where the platform supports it. Paper records are held at our Lansing office. No system is perfect, but we take these obligations seriously and review our practices annually.
